Fitness Is Manageable To Everyone

Getting in shape does require some lifestyle changes, but it doesn't need to be as drastic as many people imagine it to be.

You don't need to turn your life around so you can spend hours at the gym twice a day. You don't have to walk around with a tupperware and eat boiled chicken and broccoli everyday. You don't have to give up your social life and never eat out again.

I'm at the gym working out 3-5 days a week. It keeps me sane, it's something I enjoy and look forward to.

But life happens outside the gym. And there's no way I'm missing it out.

Yes, I pre-cook some of my foods, and eat a lot of vegetables and protein everyday.

But I also eat out, put creamer in my coffee, and have an occasional dessert and glass of wine.

I also struggle with motivation, have lazy days and overeat when stressed. It takes time, consistency and hard work to build a fit physique. But the key is to eat and workout smarter (not just harder and harder, more extreme or longer), and not expecting everything to be "perfect", because it doesn't need to be.

For an average person who just wants to be healthy and in shape, half to one hour workout 2 to 4 times a week is enough.

I don't live in the gym, even though I happen to be a trainer. And unless you want to, neither should you!
