It Is What It Is.

So I happen to have a hypothyroidism.

My digestion is whack. My skin is dry. Every once in a while I get this huge energy drop, that leaves me exhausted and unable to function. Sometimes I can't concentrate. Every once in a while I gain weight out of nowhere. Then I struggle to lose that weight for the next few months...

But what can I do about it, except take my meds, check my blood every six months, put on a body lotion, watch what I eat, exercise and rest if exhausted.... ?

Building your identity and self worth around who you are not, what you can't do or can't have, will never make you happy. Complaining and dwelling on things that can't be changed, is a waste of time, and only stop you from making the best out of what you have.
